Why use a Unique Building ID instead of an address or Assessor's Parcel Number (APN)? Great question! Some Parcels and Addresses house multiple buildings. A unique building ID helps to keep track of all buildings at a single address or parcel.
Go to Energy Star Portfolio Manager
Enter a partial business name or partial address to search for a Building ID. If you are having trouble finding your building, please try using a partial word or a different spelling (for example, "3rd" instead of "Third", or "Ave" instead of "Avenue").
